Wussy Announce RSD Single and Premier ‘Ceremony’ via Stereogum

“…For a Record Store Day single, they’ve covered New Order’s seminal new wave track “Ceremony,” making it their own without betraying the essence of the original.” – Stereogum

Wussy’s “Ceremony” b/w “Days And Hours” single is out 4/16 (Record Store Day) on gold vinyl via Damnably. It will be available at shops across the UK and Europe, but only at Cincinnati’s Shake It Records in North America.

The digital single was premiered via Stereogum. They write:

Cincinnati’s Wussy continue to surprise. “Dropping Houses,” the single from their recent album Forever Sounds, revealed new dimensions of sound, blending elements of shoegaze into the weary Midwestern roots rock that has always been their specialty. And now, for a Record Store Day single, they’ve covered New Order’s seminal new wave track “Ceremony,” making it their own without betraying the essence of the original. It’s rad. Check it out below along with B-side “Days And Hours.” – Chris DeVille / Stereogum
